» SUNSET SAFARI
At
approximately 2pm you will leave Jaisalmer by jeep. Firstly, you will visit
two historical monuments outside of Jaisalmer city, Bada Bagh and Amar
Sagar. You will then travel to Barana, a small village outside of Khuri.
Here you will take the camels and ride into the desert until sunset. After
sunset, dinner will be prepared and you will relax on the dunes next to a
camp fire (weather permitting). You will return by jeep to Jaisalmer
arriving at approximately 10:30pm.
» OVERNIGHT SAFARI
At approximately 2pm you will leave Jaisalmer by jeep. Firstly, you will
visit two historical monuments outside of Jaisalmer city, Bada Bagh and Amar
Sagar. You will then travel to Barana, a small village outside of Khuri.
Here you will take the camels and ride into the desert until sunset. After
sunset, dinner will be prepared and you will relax on the dunes next to a
camp fire (weather permitting). You will sleep overnight in the desert
either outside on the dunes or in a safari tent. The next morning after
breakfast you have the option of going on another camel ride. You will
return by jeep to Jaisalmer around 10am.
» JEEP AND CAMEL SAFARI
At approximately 9am you will leave Jaisalmer by jeep. Firstly, you will
visit the historical monuments Bada Bagh, Lodhruva and Kuldhra. You will
then travel to Barana, a small village outside of Khuri where you will enjoy
a welcome drink. You can then take lunch and relax for a while. Around
3:30pm you will go for a camel ride until sunset. After sunset, dinner will
be prepared and you will relax on the dunes next to a camp fire (weather
permitting). You will sleep overnight in the desert either outside on the
dunes, in a safari tent or in a traditional mud hut. The next morning after
breakfast you have the option of going on another camel ride. You will
return by jeep to Jaisalmer around 10am.
» CAMEL AND CULTURAL SAFARI
At
approximately 2pm you will leave Jaisalmer by jeep. You will travel to the
desert (Sam or Khuri) and arrive at the camp where you will have welcome
drinks. Here you will take the camels and ride into the desert until sunset.
After sunset, you will return to the camp where you will have snacks and
tea. There you will enjoy a cultural program with local music and dance
around a campfire. A gala dinner will be provided. After dinner you have the
choice to return to Jaisalmer or stay the night in a tent or mud hut.
We can arrange by discussion an off-road safari by jeep to remote villages.
Also by the same arrangement we can take birdwatchers in the winter time
only for a trip to see local desert birdlife. We can also organise longer
Camel Safaris by arrangement from 1 to 7 days.
